My Feathered Friend

After weeks of teasing/frustrating me, Mr. Cardinal has come forth in these last two snowstorms and actually posed for me. In another post I will show you photos of our cat and mouse game.

Here he is yesterday taking a break after his lunch. Yes, he brought the missus, a brother and his wife and assorted cousins. View yesterday's post, Dining at the Hoffmanns' to see them.

Great shot! Don't you love when they are all fluffed up? When we lived in MD, my daughter got the cardinals to come closer to us by moving the bird feeder a foot closer to the house each day, until they were finally dining on our porch.

Wonderful photo! His colors are almost too good to be true!
Did you know that if you Google 'Porch Days', you're number 3?? Congrats!

Beautiful picture! I too have been playing tag with the cardinals on our property. I finally got him yesterday. Excited to show my other half, he responded: Where is it? To which I replied, that red dot is not a holly berry. I need a better camera or to hire a photographer for my blog!
