Frosty Leaves

Frosty Leaves

Since our disastrous October snowstorm, we have had no snow. Yes, no white Christmas in Connecticut! But we have had some lovely frosts. This photo was made the day after Thanksgiving when everything was white with frost. Every leaf on the ground was lined with white. There is beauty in the most ordinary things.

I'm joining Dear Little Red House for Mosaic Monday. Click on the link and see the other mosaics.

Beautiful! We spent yesterday at Hammonassett, warm and sunny. Weird, huh?

Lovely frosty mosaic. I have been enjoying the mild weather but it is a lot colder today. I wish you and your family a very Happy New Year!

Beautiful! Until this morning, we haven't had any snow this year in Cincinnati, either.

Beautiful leaves! I'd love to see them again, but here in NW Wisconsin, they're now under about 6 inches of snow - and we're not likely to see them again until mid March. Have a happy new year! Found you on Monday Mosaic. Coincidentally, I had made a mosaic for every month of 2011 and didn't know Monday Mosaic existed until just today! What fun to see the other mosaics too. :-)

Love your frosty leaves. Yes, we both are snowless. Thanks for commenting. Hubby and I went to the movies today. So warm out you hardly needed a jacket. Loving that part about it.

I love the textures and colours on this this image, and the way you have added a border. We don't have snow, so I enjoy seeing snowy images this time of year from the northern hemisphere.
Thanks for dropping by my blog to say hi and for your comments - and have a wonderful 2012.

Gorgeous photo of the frosty leaves. It has been quite mild here too! Do you mind my asking what software program you use for your photos? Happy New Year!

Wow no snow there...I have a friend in Idaho and they have had no snow yet either and are even 70 miles from Yellowstone, which got a foot in one day...funny how that works out. Happy new year Blessings your way~

No snow in Philly either (a few flurries for the Winter Classic, that's it). Very pretty photo:@)

Yes - it's been a very strange winter in northern Alberta as well - our November snow has stayed on the fields and the gravel roads are icy but the town streets and highways are bare and dry. It was the warmest December in this area since 1954. Lovely photo!
