I’m hooked on Begonias. While everything in the garden is being munched on by bugs or slugs, the Begonias aren’t being bothered at all. They just keep blooming. Visit the Hooked on Fridays blog party at Hooked on Houses.
This begonia is still wearing rain drops from a night shower.
One little white bloom nosed into this picture.
Could this guy be protecting the flowers by eating some of the bugs?
Another example of your photography talent! The begonias are beautiful but I do think you have a great gift for taking the pics also. The last photo in particular is greeting-card-worthy.
I do love begonias. They add bright, beautiful color in the shady parts of my garden. I started some from bulbs (if that is in fact the correct term) this spring- so no blossoms yet.
Hi Nancy, It looks like you are making good use of your time and enjoying your new found freedom. I will have to try begonias in my garden as bugs are a problem. I have not grown them before, but have admired their beauty. I looked through some of your posts and noticed you are a weaver. I took a weaving class once and loved it. I worked on an 8 harness loom and always keep my eyes open for an inexpensive used one. Cathy
I love your blog. Love the pictures. I enjoyed reading it today. I had some time to do some blog hopping... I always enjoy finding new blogs and new friends. Hope you will stop by and visit me. This month I am posting on our Disney trip plus a June giveaway.....plus a new grandson that will arrive on Tuesday....

What wild and wonderful begonias! Summer is here, eh?
It's great to see all this color! It's winter for us here in Australia, so everything seems to be in hibernation or dormant.
Thanks for brightening up my day with this great splash of begonia color.

I think my wife had a nightmare about begonias or something. She won't allow them. I'd get them anyway but family harmony is at stake.
Gorgeous!! I'm so glad the bugs are staying away so that we can enjoy these pretty flowers!
Ohhh my goodness what a punch of gorgeous!!
Even the dragon fly is great.
