Probably everyone who is reading this can knit. I can crochet, weave and sew, but knitting looked impossible. After one lesson I can do the impossible!
It is only a small piece but there are no mistakes and it is fairly even. Thank you to a very good teacher who was patient with me. We sat on the sofa and put our feet up on the coffee table. She turned on the gas fire and served me a cup of tea. And we shared some laughs. I can't wait for my next lesson.

You will love knitting! I have three projects going right now. I have taken a break from the quilting and the knitting is a little more social!

I can only knit the one stitch, purling is hard for me to do. I have tried crocheting. Have fun with it and I like your mosaic for today.
I'm a pretty basic knitter, at this point, and need to get back to finishing some projects. Crochet? I bought a book that said I could learn in a day,I think I need more time!
Basic knitting is pretty easy and fun but I never seem to get beyond the basics.
I'm learning to enjoy knitting again and have completed quite a few easy projects. It's so satisfying! What will you make first?
With that stitch you can make everyone you know a scarf - if you use variegated or textured wool and big needles they'll look really wonderful with very little effort! Lovely to have that time with a friend!
I'm with you! I only was able to do the most basic stitches and then decided to do watercolors instead! LOL
