A Front Door and a Porch!
I was on a nature walk today and focusing on tiny flowers on the ground. Then I happened to look up and saw this. Can't you imagine this as the front door to some bird's or animal's house and there is even a porch! Lovely!
So remember - look up too. You might be rewarded by seeing something unusual.

Isn't that just the coolest surprise. I think a family of squirrels or woodpeckers would love such a fine home.
It's amazing the things we can all find to photograph if we just look. Sometimes I feel like I'm a menace on the roadways because my eyes are always darting around looking for something to stop along the roadside and snap a pic of.

What a delightful surprise! My kids love finding little "homes" when we go on walks and create stories about the animals that inhabit them.
