Light Space Time Art Show

I have been flying high all day thinking of having my art in the Light Space Time juried online December exhibit and having placed with "Mennonite Farm." It has been great to share the news with my friends. Today was the artists' luncheon at the Main Street Cafe in Willimantic and I showed my award winning photo. After working so diligently at my photography, it is rewarding to see some results!

Will I rest and bask in the moment? Bask yes, but rest no. Tonight I attended my marketing workshop at MakeArtWork, sponsored by the Greater Hartford Art Council. I have received a commission for a bracelet and I'm trying to find outlets for selling.

Light Space Time award winning photo

I am delighted to announce that three of my photos were accepted into the Light Space Time online art gallery exhibition, "Countryside." 



"From the Past," a photo of a covered bridge is in the Photography & Digital category!

"Glow over Stream" is in the Special Merit Category!

"Mennonite Farm" placed 2nd in Photography & Digital.   It also placed 5th overall in the show out of 343 entries.

Art Show at "The 224" in Hartford, Connecticut

All three of my photos in the juried art show at "The 224" can be seen in the header of the facebook page. Behind the man on the left is my "Peonies" to the right is "Urban Beauty" and to the right of that is "Serenity."

St. Simons Island, GA to Harkness State Park, CT

I grew up near the Georgia coast and loved going to St. Simons and Jekyll Islands. Now that I live near the coast again, I often feel an overwhelming urge to see the ocean. Mr. B and I pack some snacks and head east to the CT coast, an hour away.

This is my photo taken at Harkness State Park. I think it looks a little like a painting.
