Lane in the woods

This is the lane that leads to my house. Hard to tell there is a road there, isn't it? This is where I start my walks. Often a group of four deer leap across in front of me. It is a doe and her triplets, two boys and a girl.

Enjoy Outdoor Wednesday at A Southern Daydreamer.
Check out Dipity Road. Her photos are breathtaking!

Wow! That is just beautiful...I live in "The Woodlands" in Texas but it doesn't look anything like your woods. Anita

Your "thankful thing" for today made me smile. I'm done with all the Halloweeny stuff now too. :) Thanks for the visit!

You are such a sweet thing! You have really made me feel special.

Your leaf filled path is beautiful. Dont you just love the colors that nature give us to capture? I stand amazed most days.

Thanks again!

What an absolutely beautiful photograph. It looks like the entrance to a most amazing place. It also reminds me of a poem about a path in the woods. Thank you for sharing, and a belated Happy Outdoor Wednesday...

You are blessed to live in such a beautiful place!

I spent the afternoon raking leaves into piles so that my 2 year old could jump in them. We had a lovely time, but the yard is not any neater for all of my raking.
