The rain storm and big wind did not take down all the leaves. There is lots of color still. The light has been golden, especially as it shines through the yellow leaves. Our house has many windows which provide views of the large trees.
These photos were taken today as I walked around the yard when I took a break from digging flower beds.
I'm joining Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday. Check out some of the mosaics.
Thanks for stopping by Porch days.

Yes, I've noticed a lot more yellow leaves this fall than orange or red...must be the weather.
What a lovely yellow mosaic. We don't get much red at all out here - in fact it's quite notable when we see it. I love the blue leaf on the grey-blue...is it stone?
I love all the colors of fall, and the temperature change, (warm days cool nights)!
The feeling of nesting and change, thanks for making some of those feelings come to life in your mosaic!
So very pretty! Well done! Beautiful leaves! Cathy
Pretty Fall mosaic.
Nice autumn collage!
Very pretty! Love the yellows of autumn!
Lovely mosaic. I'm glad the rains and winds haven't taken down all the leaves yet!
Your mosaic is so pretty with all the fall yellow. I love this time of year, the sunny days and crisp, cold nights.
Hiya Nancy,
Handsome actor son.Shame we won't be seeing those commercials over here in the UK :-)
I like your leaf collection.
When my daughter lived in Tahoe we use to marvel at the Aspen Gold as they called it. Where I am we do get the brilliant reds and oranges and just like you Nancy our leaves are nearly down and that means one thing....snow.
Your photos are a pretty painting of the peace I always feel in fall. Thank you so much for sharing.
I love all the colors of autumn and these pretty yellow leaves remind me of the aspen trees in Colorado where my son and his family live!
What lovely yellows!!
I love tree's that turn yellow in the fall. Your photo's are so pretty! Glad you took a break from your flower beds to share these photo's with us!
