Fresh Tomatoes

Doesn't this look delicious? I'm joining Claudia at Friday - Finding beauty, because I think my simple salad is beautiful. I can't wait for summer and fresh tomatoes!
Remember how good tomatoes taste when they are still warm from the garden? Yummy. This salad is made with a mix of lettuces, fresh tomatoes from my garden, crumbled bacon and feta cheese. The dressing is olive oil and lemon juice, salt and cracked black pepper.

Heyyy Nancy -- you have shared one of my favorite salads! Just last night I ordered Caprese Salad... Mozerella (sp?) cheese with Basil and Tomatoes! It was YUMMM!

Thanks so much for sharing in the Fun with us!

Your picture does make me long for summer. The tomatoes are so awful right now. And there is nothing like a home grown tomato right from the garden, still warm and smelling of sunshine. Excuse me while I wipe the drool from my keyboard! Kathy

You're right - salads can be among the most visually beautiful of dishes! And I always like the simpler ones, too, so I'd take that one! :)

Looks great! I've got a bit of a yearning now to try that with goat's cheese as well as feta!

This leaves me hungry not only for a scrumptious salad but for my summer gardens and what they produce.
